The memory function turns the light on at the same mode it was when it was turned off. A built indicator will let you know by color how charged your battery is. When your battery is at 10% and lower the power saving function will automatically switch to the lowest lumen output. Don't worry about batteries, this head light is fully USB rechargeable.
